Frequently Asked Questions

About

How long is the dance season?

We offer long term developmental programming and our dance season runs with the full school year - 9 months. We’ll have a festive winter recital in December and a spring recital in May.

How do I register?

Online at www.celebrationdance.com. Click on any of the “enroll” buttons and it will take you to our Parent Portal in DanceWorks where you can create an account with us, register for classes, and pay your tuition, etc.

How does dance work?

We offer dance classes dedicated to helping your child discover dance through technique, music and socialization. Complementary styles are scheduled back to back to allow students to explore multiple styles. All classes within the level will perform in the December and May recitals. If a class says "technique", it is technique only and does not perform in the recital.

What classes should I register for?

If you're NEW to dance, we recommend that you choose 1-3 styles to get started. We always recommend Ballet first, as Ballet is the backbone of all dance. Jazz is high energy and contemporary is more soft and fluid. They're a perfect 3 part combo.

How many classes should my dancer take per week?

More than one! To be good at any sport or fine art, you need to do it more than once a week for 45 minutes. We offer many class options so that your dancer has the best opportunity to flourish and multiple styles are offered in a row on the same day to make that easier for your busy schedule. We've also seen our tiny dancers do wonderfully taking ballet and jazz in a row. Yes, your 7 year old is more than capable!

What will I be charged?

Once your registration has been approved you will be charged the registration fee. The registration fee is due within one week of the time of the registration and is non refundable.

$25/dancer for a new family
$15/dancer for a returning family
$25 for any family with more than one student

When will tuition be charged?

Payment is due by the 1st of every month and is the same regardless of how many classes there are in that month. Credit cards set up to do recurring billing will be charged the first week of each month (between the 1st and 7th). A late fee of $15 will be charged to the account if fees are not paid by the 15th of the month.

Why is the age cut off set on October 1st?

Like the school system, we have learned that dancers learn best when they are grouped together with students at their same age level. It is also important (especially for our younger classes) that the class have a small age range. We have also learned that this helps all of our dancers have a successful recital.

There is a playground off of our studio hallway that can be utilized during the warm weather months.

Our Allouez location meets at Jenstar Movement Studio and there is a lofted waiting area overlooking the studio.
